When Tempest Tossed

When tempest tossed
The waves that lost
The broken plate
The misplaced mate

When tempest tossed
The car exhaust
Smells of rotten rinds
And forgotten lines

When tempest tossed
And listening costs…

  1. Hi, Aaron! Here’s my first response to the poem: sound like Micah, my two-year-old, when he’s having a bad day…

  2. It was nice to see you the other day and lunch sounds nice sometime.
Also, I purchased The Cloud of Unknowing and plan on reading it. Would you recommend it since you (quite humorously) referenced it in your tag column?
